Payne's prairie state park.

Payne's Prairie state park was our second stop for the day. We took a 2.5 mile hike through a beautiful oak forest that led us to Payne's Prairie. The prairie was established in an old lake that was drained by a sink hole in the early 1900's. It is now home to hundreds of bird species, wild Florida cracker horses, wild bison, American alligators, and many other flora and fauna. It was quite a beautiful hike.
